She worked for Ann’s Hallmark Shoppe, Mid-Valley Mall; Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - Gift Shop, Fishkill and finally at Kohl’s, Newburgh. Anna’s final career was to stop working for a pay check and retire to take care of her gardens and help take care of her granddaughter.

Through the years Anna found time to do some volunteer work: Literacy Volunteers of America Eastern Orange County, tutor; American Cancer Society, neighborhood canvasser; St. Patrick’s School, CCD substitute teacher; Fostertown Elementary School and Gidney Avenue Magnet School, parents club; Jewish Family Service of Orange County, friends of seniors ride facilitator.
