Obituary for Regina Bremer (Rose)
REGINA ELIZABETH BREMER
August 31, 1940 – January 28, 2018
Regina Elizabeth Bremer, of Montgomery, NY entered into eternal rest on January 28, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Wallkill, NY. She was 77 years old.
The daughter of the late James Rose and Mary (Lodini) Rose, Regina was born on August 31, 1940 in Grassy Point, NY.
Regina was self-employed as a Domestic House Cleaner. Previously she was a long time waitress with Dubaldi’s Restaurant and Lloyd’s in Newburgh, NY.
She was an active member of St. Thomas of Canterbury Church in Cornwall-on-Hudson. A family statement reads: “She was a light in so many lives. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, wife and friend. Her spirit will be with us always. Her pain is over and her eternal reward in Heaven has only just begun.” She will be missed greatly and we will meet again.
Regina was predeceased by her loving husband: Cornelius E. Bremer. She is survived by her sons: James Bremer and his wife Kiersten, Neil Bremer and Richard Bremer; her daughters: Jean A. Kinsley and Suzanne Edwards; and her grandchildren: Skylar, Lakelyn, Sean, Joseph, Lisa, Kelly, Faith, Matthew, Nathan, Brook, Richard and Shauna; as well as several nieces and nephews.
At this time Regina’s family would like to convey their sincere appreciation to the staff at Orange Regional Medical Center for their wonderful care and comfort they had provided over the years, as well as these last few difficult days. The care and dignity you provided for her will never be forgotten.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, February 2nd at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 3rd at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Regina’s name may be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc., 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
