Lou John Miller, a.k.a. “Butch”, of New Windsor, NY entered into eternal rest on November 14, 2017 at his home. He was 73 years old.
The son of the late Louis John Miller and Adelia Ann (Cargain) Miller, Lou was born on September 23, 1944 in Bridgeport, CT.
Lou was retired from the Village of Cornwall-On-Hudson Water Dept.; he was also a retired Bus Driver for West Point Tours Inc. in Vails Gate, N.Y., a job that brought him much pride & joy. His co¬-workers and employers were dear friends which he always considered as family.
Lou honorably and proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
Lou was a man who had a soul that longed to explore, he had a true passion for travelling with his beloved wife Carol and his companion Mr. Foxie (his dog).
Lou is survived by his loving wife Carol A. (Kopec) Miller at home; his stepson: Ryan J. Chilliemi of New Windsor, NY; and his sister: Linda Lord of Massachusetts as well as many other beloved family members.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 19th at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Inurnment will take place at a graveside service at 12 p.m. on Monday, November 20th at Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY.
